Why We Built Tomorrowborn

Why We Built Tomorrowborn

In a world where information is instant, where AI can answer almost any question, we believe education must evolve.
It’s no longer enough to teach children what to know. We have to teach them how to think, connect, imagine, and create—how to understand the networks between things, not just the things themselves.

It’s no longer enough to teach children what to know. We have to teach them how to think, connect, imagine, and create—how to understand the networks between things, not just the things themselves.

Tomorrowborn was designed as a response to that shift. A pilot space. A living experiment. A new kind of summer camp that’s also a prototype for a new kind of school—one that helps children become emotionally fluent, systems-literate, and grounded in their own sense of purpose.

This isn’t about keeping up with the future. It’s about raising children who can shape it.

How This All Started

How This All Started

Tomorrowborn began, like many good things, as a conversation between two friends—about childhood, education, and the strange beauty of growing up in a world that’s changing faster than we can explain.

We both spent years working in education, sustainability, creative learning, and storytelling. What we saw, over and over, was how often children’s brilliance is reduced to compliance. How the magic of becoming gets flattened by pressure, screens, and systems.
So we decided to build something different. Small, intentional, soulful. A space where children could create, collaborate, and imagine their way into the future—without leaving behind the wonder of being young.

Three
Kinds of
Growth

We believe childhood is not just a stage to just survive — it’s a time-sensetive window to believe in who they're becoming as adults.
And to become whole, a child needs three kinds of learning, braided together like a story they write with their body, mind, and soul.

We believe childhood is not just a stage to just survive — it’s a time-sensetive window to believe in who they're becoming as adults.
And to become whole, a child needs three kinds of learning, braided together like a story they write with their body, mind, and soul.

The Body

Children need to move, to make, to feel strong and grounded in their own skin.
They learn with their feet in the dirt, their hands on real tools, and their bodies in rhythm.

The Mind

Children are natural scientists, builders, philosophers.
They ask real questions, make real connections, and need space to think and explore without fear of failure.

The Soul

The soul is not abstract—it’s the part of the child that wonders who they are.
We nourish it through ritual, empathy, imagination, and connection.

Who You'll Meet at the Gate

Erfan
Experience designer, storyteller, and educator.
Erfan has spent the last 15 years designing immersive learning experiences across schools, museums, and creative studios. He believes education should feel like a journey—not a checklist—and that children learn best when they feel safe, curious, and seen.

Sahar
Sustainability specialist, nature enthusiast, and story guide.
With a background in environmental education and a love for folklore, Sahar brings earth wisdom, deep listening, and the joy of curiosity to everything she touches. Children often leave her backyard a little muddier—and a lot more grounded.

This is an invitation

Tomorrowborn isn’t built for everyone. It’s built for the families who feel a pull toward something slower, deeper, more creative. For those who believe summer can be sacred, and that childhood isn’t just preparation—it’s the beginning of a story worth remembering.

If that resonates, we’d be honored to welcome your child into the circle.
